Periphery
So..Band for the day is Periphery. My bro introduced me to this band a few days ago. Periphery is an American progressive metal band from Bethesda, Maryland where they formed in 2005.This band has a high reputation for their heavy, modern, and progressive sound. Periphery has three highly skilled guitarists and is also known as one of the forerunners of the guitar playing technique known as "djent," which is characterized by high-gain, distorted palm-muted guitar sound. The band use 6, 7, and more recently 8 string guitars. This band has recently changed members with their current line up being Spencer Sotelo, whom is their lead vocalist, Mark Holcomb, their rhythm guitarist,Jake Bowen, another skilled guitarist,Misha Mansoor, lead guitarist,and finally,there is Matt Halpern,their drummer.
