Anime Review(Bleach)
Today I'm gonna be doing an overall review on Bleach, one of the most popular anime/manga out to date in the U.S. The story is about a guy named Ichigo 'Strawberry' Kurosaki, a teenage high-school student who is capable of seeing spirits only being able to talk to them until he had a fateful encounter with a special type of spirit. There are two types of special spirits amongst normal spirits. There are the Shinigami,a group of 'soul reapers' who help lost souls find their way to a world know as the Soul Society, where all Shinigami and freed spirits reside. Then there is the evil spirits, known as Hollows who hunt spirits and humans and devour them, while also being hunted by Shinigami who purge the world of them. Hollows can be easily identified by their skeleton like masks and holes in their chest. Ichigio came across both spirits in one night, little did he know this encounter would change his life. Becoming both a soul reaper and having an inner hollow, Ichigo begins to learn how to control his powers to save his friends and the worlds of Soul Society and Earth from the Hollow threat. As far as graphics/visuals the colors for the first season are a little dulled but still very interesting and eye grabbing, using stronger, more vibrant color much later in the series, specifically in the Karakura Town Arc to the Fullbring Arc,for those who are further into the series already. Now as far as the story goes, it is very interesting but there a lot of plot holes within it, leaving some viewers and fans of the show a "What the hell?" response, but overall the plot holes aren't so large that they are story breaking. This show also has an amazing soundtrack. Overall I'd give Bleach an 8/10.
