Winds Of Plauge

Okay,So I just started listening to these guys and just heard their entire album 'Decimate The Weak'. So far, I'm pretty impressed with them. They sound REALLY good. Anyway, here's what I could find on them. Winds of Plague is an American Deathcore band from Upland, California, formed in 2002. They are best known as one of the only deathcore bands to incorporate symphonic elements into their music along with other acts such as Make Them Suffer. The band's name is derived from a section of lyrics in the Unearth song "Endless"; "Growing wings of sorrow/have brought you to the winds of plague."Shortly following their name change, they recorded their debut album A Cold Day in Hell when they had just finished their senior year at high school. It was released on June 27, 2005 through Recorse Records. It features the single "Brotherhood", which they still play at numerous live shows. Three years after the release of A Cold Day in Hell, they recorded their first major label album Decimate the Weak, which was released on February 5, 2008 through Century Media Records. The album features the singles "Decimate the Weak" and "Angels of Debauchery", and a music video was shot and released for the song "The Impaler". The album also features four tracks from A Cold Day in Hell that were re-recorded for this album.
Winds of Plague's third album, and second release on the major label Century Media, The Great Stone War was released on August 11, 2009. Though the album features two singles, "Approach the Podium" and "Chest and Horns", no music videos were ever shot for any songs on the album. On October 14, 2009, keyboardist Kristen Randall stated that she would be leaving the band and did so days afterward.[2] The band approached musician Lisa Marx to fill in on keyboard for their Australian/New Zealand tour. Afterwards the band found Alana Potocnik who since then has been inducted as Winds of Plague's keyboardist.
Against the World, the band's fourth album, was released on April 19, 2011 to widespread critical acclaim. "Refined in the Fire" and "California" have been released as singles, as well as music videos for "Drop the Match", "California" and "Refined in the Fire".

Overall, this is an impressive band, but this is about as much as I know on them,so if you guys are looking for more info, you're gonna have to look to Google. But,uh. Keep viewing my blogs, guys. I'll keep you posted on new anime and music. Thanks. Oh,and don't forget to

Cloud vs Vincent?

Okay..So,I was just wondering....Who would win in a match? And I know this is a years old conversation, but after taking a look at Advent Children with my bro after a long weekend and re-playing Dirge Of Cerberus, i was just curious. I bet my money on Vincent, mainly because of his use of Chaos and the fact that he can regenerate from even severe wounds and he's in all dictations of the word "immortal". Feel free to comment and discuss.

My Day..

Uh, Just gonna drop the music topic for a few days for anybody who actually even views them. Eh, I've been feeling a little off lately guys. You know? Between music,my girlfriend, and my job I've been kinda busy and well, yeah. Just been busy and it feels like I've lost interest in a lot of things. Ya' know?  Anyway, I just kinda felt like I should throw that out there. Not much to complain about..Just a sad/depressed feeling.

Cloud Strife

Today, We're gonna go into full detail and the history of Cloud Strife. The Legacy of Zack Fair and the successful experiment of  Prof. Hojo.
In Final Fantasy VII, due to the combined effect of Mako poisoning and the influence of Jenova's cells in his body, Cloud unknowingly holds a fake persona created by the Jenova cells mixing his memories of Zack's personality with the somewhat cocky and selfish attitude he believes a SOLDIER 1st Class would have. However, during the game events he eventually restores his original personality, and shows genuine concern for the Planet's fate, a sharp contrast to his persona at the start of the game where he claimed he did not care about the Planet and only agreed to help AVALANCHE for the right price.
In Advent Children and many related appearances, Cloud is a much more somber and dark character, tormented by guilt over what he perceives as his past failings; being unable to prevent the deaths of Aerith Gainsborough and Zack Fair. The final straw was when he contracted the terminal Geostigma plague, which added to his feelings of helplessness. Deciding to distance himself from his friends and live alone, he tries to keep his affliction secret so as not to cause further grief.
However, during the film Cloud faces his past both metaphorically and literally, with Sephiroth's rebirth, his visions of Aerith and shows of loyalty from the friends he tried so hard to let go. These events allow him to forgive himself for the deaths of Zack and Aerith and move on, although it is unclear what this ultimately means in terms of his personality and lifestyle. However, the mere fact that he is present to aid his old allies shows that he has indeed moved on in his life.
In Crisis Core, Cloud is depicted as a rather shy, but more upbeat person who idolizes both Zack and Sephiroth. However, when Sephiroth burned down Nibelheim and badly wounded his friends Zack and Tifa Lockhart, Cloud does not hesitate to avenge them by hurling the madman to his apparent death whilst himself being impaled with the Masamune.
